Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Elixi Ltd (“Elixi”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at https://elixi.com and its subpages (together, the “Site”).
This Cookie Policy applies to the Site only. The use of the Elixi mobile application for iOS and Android devices (the “Application”) is governed by a separate set of documents, namely Elixi Terms and Conditions, Data Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, applicable for residents of Washington and Nevada. Information you enter on the Site, including when you ask us for early access to the Application, is dealt with in our Data Privacy Policy. We do not ask for Health Data on the Site.
This Cookie Policy forms part of, and should be read alongside, our Site Terms of Use, which govern your access to and use of the Site, and our Data Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle Personal Data more generally. Terms defined in the Data Privacy Policy have the same meaning when used in this Cookie Policy.
We handle Personal Data collected through cookies in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “GDPR”) and the national laws implementing Directive 2002/58/EC (the “ePrivacy Directive”) in the EU and the European Economic Area (EEA), including Cyprus and, where you are located in the United Kingdom, in accordance with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 (as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (“PECR”) (together, “Data Protection Law”).
When you visit the Site from your computer or mobile device, we may collect and use cookies or other identifiers to keep the Site secure and working, to allow the forms on the Site to function, to measure how you interact with the Site and, where you have given your Consent, to show you advertisements for Elixi on the Site, on other websites and by email. Storing information on, or reading it from, your device is done on the basis of your Consent, except where the technology is strictly necessary. Where a technology is strictly necessary we rely on our legitimate interests in operating a secure and functioning Site and where you have given your Consent, we rely on that Consent.
We predominantly use cookies, which are small pieces of data stored on your device in order to remember information about you, such as your language preference, the cookie choices you have made, analytics and advertising.
We also work with third-party advertising providers who place cookies on your browser and may use other technologies (tags, web beacons and IP address tracking) to recognise the browser or device you use. They do so on the Site only, and only where you have given your Consent.
Cookies are the most common form of internet trackers that monitor and collect data about your online activities. Others are web beacons, tracking pixels, local storage and IP address logging, and this Cookie Policy applies to all of them.
Whilst active, cookies store information when you access various pages on the Site or when you return to it. Some cookies are used and stored only during your visit to the Site (session cookies), while others are for a longer period (persistent).

Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies enable core functionality such as security, network management, load balancing and accessibility. The Site cannot function properly without them, so they cannot be switched off through the consent tool.
Analytics cookies allow us to understand how visitors interact with the Site, including metrics such as the number of visitors, bounce rate and traffic sources. They are set only where you have consented. Performance cookies are used to monitor and analyse the Site’s technical performance, so that we can deliver a better experience for visitors. They are set only where you have consented..
Functional cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalisation, such as sharing content from the Site on social media platforms, collecting feedback, and enabling other third-party features. They are set only where you have consented.
Uncategorised cookies are cookies that have been detected on the Site but have not yet been assigned to one of the categories above. They are set only where you have given your Consent, and we review and reclassify them into the appropriate category as soon as reasonably possible.
Who sets cookies and who receives your data
First-party cookies are set by us. Third-party cookies are set by providers whose services are embedded in the Site, including our web analytics provider, our advertising partners, and the social media platforms whose buttons appear on our pages.
Each third-party provider determines the purposes and means of its own processing of the data collected through its cookies and acts as an independent controller in respect of that processing. The identity of each provider, together with a link to its own privacy notice, is shown against the relevant cookie in the Cookie List.
How to control and delete cookies
1. Consent tool
The Elixi cookie consent tool can be used to customize your cookie preferences. The tool records when you have consented to our cookie policy and will ask for consent every six months, so that users stay up to date with changes to this Cookie Policy and our Data Privacy Policy. The consent tool controls the performance, functional and targeting cookies set on the Site. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled, nor can the tool be used to block cookies on third-party websites linked from the Site.

3. Google Analytics
We receive data from Google Analytics which uses cookies and technologies to analyse data about your use of online resources. You can opt out from Google Analytics by using the browser add-on, available on Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on Download Page.
4. Social media buttons
We also use social media plug-ins integrated through cookies. Only if you click on one of the social media buttons and then accept its activation will personal data be transferred automatically to the respective plug-in provider and stored by them. If your data is handled by a US social media provider, it will be stored in the USA.
International transfers
Elixi Ltd is established in Cyprus, and Personal Data collected through the Site is stored on servers located in the territory of the EU. Access from outside the EEA is remote only, and this data is not stored outside the EEA. Some of the third-party providers whose cookies are used on the Site may be established outside the EEA. Where we, or those providers, transfer Personal Data to a country that is not covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission, we put in place appropriate safeguards: the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission, together with supplementary technical and organisational measures required by law. If you are located in the United Kingdom, transfers to the EEA are covered by the UK adequacy regulations, and any onward transfer to a country not covered by those regulations is protected by the International Data Transfer Agreement issued by the Information Commissioner, or by the SCCs together with the UK Addendum, supported in either case by a transfer risk assessment.

Do not track
At present, we do not recognize and do not track signals from your web browser. Where applicable law requires us to honour an opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, we treat that signal as a valid instruction to disable non-essential cookies for the browser from which it is sent. Where we honour such a signal, we treat it as an instruction to disable the targeting and advertising cookies described above, as well as our analytics and functional cookies, for the browser from which it is sent. If you are a resident of the United States, Annex B to our Data Privacy Policy explains your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, including “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising, and how to exercise it.
Your choices and your rights
You can withdraw your consent to non-essential cookies at any time, and it is as easy to withdraw consent as it was to give it: reopen the consent tool from the link in the Site footer and change your settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before the withdrawal.
If you refuse or withdraw consent to non-essential cookies you can still browse the Site. Some features may not work as intended — for example, your preferences may not be remembered between visits, and content and advertising shown to you will not be personalized.
In relation to Personal Data collected through cookies you have, subject to applicable law, the rights set out in Section J of our Data Privacy Policy: to access a copy of that data, to ask us to correct it or delete it, to object to or restrict our processing, to ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation, and to withdraw any consent you have given. Not all of these rights are absolute and exemptions may apply. If you are unhappy with how we handle your Personal Data, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve the matter. You also have the right to complain to a Supervisory Authority. Our lead Supervisory Authority is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Cyprus, 15 Kypranoros Street, 1061 Nicosia, Cyprus. If you are in the EEA you may also complain to the Supervisory Authority of your country of habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. Individuals in the United Kingdom may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. If you are in the United States, the authority competent to receive your complaint is identified in Annex B to our Data Privacy Policy.

Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, in the providers we work with, or in applicable law. The date shown at the top of this policy indicates when it was last updated, and we will ask you to renew your Consent when we make material changes. Previous versions are available on request.
